Ingredients:
Henna powder - 100 gms
Beet root juice - 1/2 cup
Egg - 1
Lime juice - half lime
Water - needed to make paste
Try to use pure or 100% henna powder, this will help us in achieving the right color. Also this will ensure that we are not applying chemical product instead of a herbal product.
Chop beetroot into cubes and blend it in a blender and strain the juice. Beat the egg well in a separate bowl.
Use a iron or a glass bowl to make this mixture. Put the henna powder and pour the beetroot juice, beaten egg, lime juice and water to make a thick paste.
Keep this aside for at least 4 hours or overnight and apply on your hair the next day. Leave it on your hair for a minimum of 3-5 hours to get a good burgundy color.
