Ingredients:
Roasted rava - 1 cup
Water - 2 to 2 1/4 cups
Onions - 1 medium sized chopped
Beans - few
Carrot - 1 small
Green peas - 1/4 cup
Mustard seeds - for tempering
Oil/Ghee - 2 tablespoon
Urad dhal - 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves - few for tempering
Coriander leaves - few chopped
Green chilies - 3 finely chopped
Salt - as per taste
Warm up the rava in a pan and set it aside. Boil carrot and beans in a separate pan so that its half cooked. Drain it and set it aside
Warm up a tava and add oil/ghee in it. Once the oil/ghee is warm enough add mustard seeds and let it spurt completely. Then add curry leaves, onion, green chilies and saute this till onions turn transparent. Then add the cooked vegetables and saute it for a minute. After a minute, pour in 2 to 2 1/4 cups of water to the vegetables. Bring the water to boil and once it boils add in the rava little by little while stirring it continuously. Do not stop stirring as it might lead to lumps of rava and it might not cook completely.
Keep stirring till all the water is absorbed by rava. This might take 6-7 minutes. Once its cooked, take it off the heat and serve it with coconut chutney.
